We have assembled a team of professionals, unmatched in the province. They have created a curriculum that goes beyond simple practice sessions to emphasize the importance of the mind-body relationship. It’s a holistic approach in a true golfing environment.
Georgette Pike – Georgette is a Level Three Golf Teaching Professional with the United States Golf Teaching Federation. She has represented Newfoundland several times at various Canadian Junior and Amateur tournaments.
Ryan Tobin – Ryan has two years of golf teaching experience with the Newfoundland and Labrador Golf Association (NLGA). He traveled across Newfoundland and Labrador with the Future Links golf program promoting and encouraging junior golf. Ryan stresses the importance of having fun and incorporates this into his teaching habits. He has also won club championships as a junior golfer and competed competitively for over five years. His respect for the game and for children will make Ryan one of Clovelly’s charms at the camps.
Claire Belanger - Claire worked with Clovelly Junior Golf in 2005. She has represented Newfoundland at National Championships and intends to compete in the Newfoundland Amateur this summer. She loves teaching kids to play golf, and enjoys recruiting new female junior golfers on the island. Claire’s calm and innovative attitude will help make each week unique and fun!
Ryne Hepditch- Ryne is in his final year of his Physical Education Degree. He has been teaching children for the past five summers in various sports and has taught physical education in schools throughout work terms. His physical education training with kids and his passion for sports will help keep our young golfers safe and fun. Ryne has been playing golf since the age of 10 and has competed at the provincial level.
